The company had posted a net profit of Rs 216.63 crore in the October-December period of the last fiscal, Sun TV Network said in a BSE filing.
Total income from operations stood at Rs 589.43 crore during the quarter under review, up 32.82 per cent from Rs 573.24 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
Sun TV's total expenses during the quarter were down 3.80 per cent to Rs 260.39 crore as against Rs 270.70 crore.
Shares of Sun TV Network closed the day at Rs 723.50 per scrip, down 2.01 per cent from the previous close on BSE.
