SunEdison commissions 146 MW solar projects

Renewable energy firm SunEdison has commissioned 146 MW of solar power projects in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The energy from the solar power plants would be sold to local distribution channels and private companies, city-based SunEdison said in a statement.
"SunEdison has built more than 470 MW of renewable energy in India so far propelling the country towards goal of installing 175 GW of renewable energy by 2022," SunEdison India, President, Pashupathy Gopalan said.
SunEdison plans to develop more than 1,500 MW solar and wind energy plants over the next 18 months, it said.
