"Nirbaak will be released on May 1. It is Sushmita's debut in Bengali cinema," Srijit said.
"Nirbaak" is a hyperlink narrative comprising four love stories connected by a single woman, played by Sen.
Every love story comprises one entity which is silent and thus Nirbaak (Speechless), Srijit explained.
The film celebrates the kind of love which transcends human language, exploring the most celebrated human themes of love, lust, jealousy, affection and separation within the natural elements around us.
"Nirbaak" also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Anjan Dutt and Ritwik Chakraborty.
