The family of the deceased complained that Bhanu Pratap, who was under suspension for some time, committed suicide last night, Station House Officer (SHO) of Amber police station Dharmendra Kumar said.
According to the family, the deceased was under mental stress and was also living separately from his wife, he said.
The body has been handed over to family, the SHO said, adding that, the matter is being investigated.
