SVO, Jammu produced the challan (charge sheet) in the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Kathua against Mohd Younis, junior engineer, PMGSY, Billwar, Kathua, a SVO spokesman said.
A written complaint was received from one Shailender Vaid alleging the accused was demanding Rs one lakh for preparation of a bill amounting to Rs 15 lakhs with regard to the executed work of Thar-Ghat road, he said.
Vigilance officers laid a trap and the accused was caught while accepting the graft money, the spokesman added.
