Swamy today criticised Union Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal for making remarks on the Supreme Court judgement in the 2G Spectrum scam case saying he was "acting" on behalf of telecom companies.
"Sibal had already made himself look ridiculous when he declared in 2010 that there was zero loss in revenue when the then Telecom Minister A Raja and Finance Minister P Chidambaram in 2008 as empowered minister by the Cabinet had decided to provide 2G spectrum at one-tenth of the market price, causing a loss of at least Rs 1.76 lakh crores to the exchequer," Swamy said in a statement.
