In a letter to Turkish Foreign Minister Nevlut Cavusoglu, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj condemned the attack which has been blamed on Kurdish militants by the government of that country.
"EAM writes to her Turkish counterpart, condemns #AnkaraAttack & says it is a reminder of the necessity of concerted action against terrorism," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.
The car bomb struck five buses carrying military personnel when it stopped at a red traffic light in the centre of Turkish capital on Wednesday evening. While 28 people were killed, 61 others wounded.
