"Together with Nepal, at its time of loss. Minister Swaraj is leading an all-party delegation for funeral of former Koirala," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said.
The delegation comprised of Congress leader Anand Sharma, JD(U) President Sharad Yadav, CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.

Sharad Yadav also wrote a letter to the Ambassador of Nepal, Deep Kumar Upadhyay, expressing his deep sorrow over the demise of Koirala, whom he hailed as an "unassuming" person.
"He was a mass leader and, therefore, he became the President of Nepal Congress in the year 2012. He was a true believer in democracy, and as such during his tenure as Prime Minister, he played a key role in starting the process of drafting of new Constitution of Nepal," Yadav said.
