State BJP president K Laxman said these full-timers would go to 74 assembly constituencies from today and mobilise the party machinery.
The total number of assembly segments and Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana is 119 and 16, respectively.
Full-timers for remaining areas would be appointed soon, Laxman said.
As in Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is giving motorcycles to full-timers in Telangana so that they can travel easily.
These workers would mobilise the party machinery to ensure that the party does well at the booth-level, he said.
"We are formally launching this programme today as a part of efforts to make BJP an alternative to (ruling) TRS," the state BJP president added.
