The Cambridge English Language Assessment (CELA) has signed an MoU with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) in this regard, an official release said, adding that aim of the MoU was to improve the quality of English teaching and learning in the TASK-registered colleges.
"It also aims to introduce a standardised international testing system for English which is linked to the CEFR international benchmarks across a pilot branch of students from TASK registered colleges and to organise joint conferences, workshops, seminars and other short term training programmes related to English language teaching," it said.
TASK's initiatives are focused on the concept of 'Employability Quotient' that includes three key skill dimensions, namely, personal, technical and organisational.
Cambridge English is a leading global authority on English language testing.
