Tata Sky launches Tata Sky Comedy with Hindi comedy content

Leading direct-to-home operator Tata Sky today launched a new service, Tata Sky Comedy, to its diverse bouquet of content.
"This would be the first ever interactive service on DTH in India that provides a single destination for all formats of Hindi comedy content," the company said in a statement.
Tata Sky Comedy will offer original content created especially for this service along with classic comedy TV shows, like "Nukkad", "Ye Jo Hai Zindagi", "Office Office" and "Zabaan Sambhalke".
The DTH operator has partnered with Comedywalas, a unit of Shemaroo Entertainment for exclusive and new content such as Bollywood Tadka and Comedy Fatafat.

The interactive section of the service features Jokes, Fun Quizzes like Dialogue baazi (based on dialogues from Bollywood movies) and a popular comic strip Suppandi, all of which is refreshed daily.

TCS partners with Boy Scouts of America for digital literacy * Country's largest software exporter TCS today said it has partnered with Boy Scouts of America, a values-based youth development organisation in US, to offer digital literacy for youth.
The services will be offered through the city-headquartered company's community engagement programme under which it teaches computer programming, design theory, robotics and app development for free to middle and high school students, it said in a statement.

Its president for North America, UK and Europe, Surya Kant said the demand for skilled technology talent is growing and engaging with the students will prepare them for the 21st century careers.
It can be noted that US has traditionally been one of the biggest market opportunity for the IT firms in the country.

RPP Infra bags 2 projects worth Rs 565 mln from NLC * Infrastructure major RPP Infra has bagged two new projects worth Rs 56.50 crore from public sector Neyveli Lignite Corporation for construction of residential quarters and to take up civil works.

"RPP Infra has received two orders from Neyveli Lignite Corporation for construction of 154 units of residential quarters including electrification works for NTPL Township at Tuticorin worth Rs 349 million.", RPP Infra said in a BSE notification.
The company also bagged Rs 216 million worth of projects for taking up general civil works Phase-II at NTPL 2x500MW Tuticorin Thermal Power Project in Tuticorin.
