Taxi driver found dead inside vehicle

A taxi driver was found dead in his vehicle here today morning creating a flutter in this tourist town.
35-year-old Kailash Bahakuni was seen lying inside his taxi parked in Mallital by commuters. His car was parked in a way that it was causing problems to the other vehicles on the road.
"A taxi was parked near Mohan Co. At Mallital in such a way that vehicles were having a problem driving past it. When no one from inside the taxi responded despite repeated honking by other drivers , a crowd of passersby gathered around it. When they looked inside, they realised that the man was dead," SHO, Mallital, Uttam Singh said.

The deceased plied taxi in and around Nainital for a living. Investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of his death, Singh said.
