The 24-year-old singer feels that recounting one's life gives a different kind of thrill, reported Billboard magazine.
"I think it's a bit of a relief to take the focus off of my own life. It can get pretty intense writing (personal) details - that's a very vulnerable place to put yourself in," Swift said.
"But there's a specific type of thrill you get from that recounting of your life," she added.
The singer recently recorded the song 'Sweeter Than Fiction' for movie 'One Chance', which is based on the life of 'Britain's Got Talent' winner Paul Potts.
