Based on a complaint filed by the girl's mother, a resident of Dilshad Garden in Delhi, a case has been registered against music teacher Tarun Chatterjee, a senior police officer said.
According to the complainant, the accused, a resident of Shahdara, would travel in the same bus as the girl to the school in Sahibabad.
It was on Sept. 5 that she complained to her mother about the teacher's behaviour.
Following the complaint and his subsequent arrest, the school management has suspended the teacher, police said, adding that a probe was on into the case.
