The incident took place last evening when the victim, a class ten student went to attend tution classes at accused Shahnavaz Syed's place in Sarkhej area of the city, said Investigating officer K D Modi.
The accused had asked the girl to attend extra classes in the evening as she was weak in Maths. Yesterday, the tutor called the victim and molested her, said the officer.
The victim and her family lodged a police complaint following which we arrested the accused from his house, he said.
