The eight-year-old was molested in her class by the teacher today, when other teachers and students had left for the day, police said.
The frightened girl managed to escape to her home nearby and complained to her family. Her neighbours rushed to the school and severely beat up the teacher before handing him over to the police, who arrested him, the police added.
