Teacher killed; dumped on hillock

A 34-year-old school teacher from Sahapur was brutally murdered by unknown assailants and dumped on the hillocks near Asangaon railway station here, police said today.
PI MB Sakale of Sahapur police station told PTI that the victim, identified as Nilesh Saste, was found lying in a pool of blood yesterday on the hillock in Nirmal Nagar near the station.
The body, which was identified by the teacher's brother, has been sent for post-mortem and a manhunt has been launched for the killers, police said.
Saste did not return home after he left for school at 9 AM. Police suspect that he was killed around noon.

An offence has been registered under section 302 (murder) of the IPC against the killers and further probe is underway.
