The petitioner S Inbaraj submited that after the Minister developed "illegal intimacy" with his wife, the minister and his personal assistant Balasundar abused him and threatened him.
The petitioner submitted that though he gave a complaint to Vijayakumar, Inspector of Police, Sathankulam Police station, and filed a case in the court seeking a direction to probe and file FIR for allegedly threatening him on November 9, 2014, the inspector filed a closure report in the court.
But again on January 12 this year, the Inspector had submitted a "false" closure report without conducting a fair and proper investigation, the petitioner said adding that hence he sought a CB-CID probe into the complaint against the Minister.
He also sought to quash the closure report given on January 12.
Justice C T Selvam posted the case for hearing on March 30.
