: Tech Mahindra Ltd has been allotted 12,000 square feet space at Technopark here to set up a 200-seat office.
A letter in this regard was handed over by Kerala IT Parks CEO Hrishikesh Nair to Tech Mahindra, General Manager (Infrastructure-Corporate Services), Palani Velu, allotting 12,000 square feet space to the company.
The decision to set up operations in Technopark came after Tech Mahindra CEO C P Gurnani met the state Chief Secretary last month, a press release said.
The office is expected to be operational in the next three months will also be catering to a gamut of the companys global clientele.
With Tech Mahindra also deciding to set up operations in Technopark, Kerala can now boast of the 5 IT majors of the country having their presence in the state (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant already have operations in Kerala).
"Our State is definitely getting noticed by IT companies globally, as one of the most preferred locations in India. This is because of the extensive support by the state government and extremely skilled talent base the State has to offer," according to Hrishikesh Nair.
Tech Mahindra, headquartered from Pune, part of the Mahindra group, offers innovative and customer-centric IT services and solutions to enterprises, associates and the society at large.
