Teenager tortured by acid

A teenager was brutally injected acid into his private parts as punishment for theft near the main roundabout in Sohsarai police station area of Bihar's Nalanda district, police said today.
"Fourteen-year-old Mohammad Amir, working in a scrap shop, was tortured by the owner by pouring acid into his private parts yesterday on charge of stealing in his shop," Station House Officer (SHO) of Sohsarai police station Ravi Jyoti said.
The boy was first admitted to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital but later he was taken to Patna Medical College and Hospital.
The shop owner has been arrested and sent to jail, Jyoti said.
