Telangana Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy, speaking at a meeting of ministers of southern states on Sabarimala pilgrimage in Thiruvananthapuram, said the facilities including drinking water, accommodation, food, parking need to be provided at Pamba.
The meeting at Thiruvananthapuram was presided over by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
About 10 lakh pilgrims visit Sabarimala every year from Telangana, a state government release quoted Reddy as saying.
Reddy expressed confidence that Kerala government would take steps towards putting in place facilities like information centre, accommodation and online booking as discussed in the previous meeting.
He urged the Kerala government to allot land to Telangana at Pamba instead of the land at Nilakkal.
The minister also favoured conducting a campaign against usage of plastic during the pilgrimage, the release added.
