An order to this effect was issued by the state School Education Department today.
During summer from March 15 onwards, primary, upper primary and high schools under both government and private management would function from 8 am to 12.30 pm, the order issued by the Commissioner and Director of School Education said.
In respect of high schools having SSC examination centres, the school timing will be from 1 pm to 5 pm, it said.
