Temperatures hover below normal in Pb, Haryana

Cloudy conditions prevailed in Punjab and Haryana with maximum temperatures today hovering below normal levels in the neighbouring states.
Union Territory Chandigarh had a high of 32 deg C, down by a degree below normal, MeT department report said.
Among other places in Haryana, Ambala, Bhiwnai, Hisar and Narnaul recorded maximum at 32.4 deg C, 33.4 deg C, 34.5 deg C and 32 deg C respectively.
Karnal district, which received 0.8mm rainfall, settled at 32.4 deg C.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded maximum at 33.4 deg C, down by one degree while Ludhiana and Patiala had high of 32.4 deg C and 33.1 deg C, down by up to 2 notches below normal.
The weather department predicted light to moderate rains at isolated places in the two states in the next 24 hours.
