The Council also protested the "unilateral wage revision announcement" made by Film Employees' Federation of South India even as talks were on to finalise the wage hike.
FEFSI's announcement had "shocked" all producers, especially those investing in small budget films, as under-production movies would be affected by it, TFPC said in a statement here.
"With no decision being arrived so far on wage revision, production and post-production work will be suspended from tomorrow till an amicable solution is found," on wage revision with FEFSI, it said.
