Thaali removal programme: Scuffle between activists of DK,

A minor scuffle broke out between activists of Dravidar Kazhagam and Shiv Sena here, with the latter opposing a thaali (mangal sutra) snapping programme of the DK.
Activists of the two outfits were involved in a minor scuffle but they were chased away, police said.
Meanwhile, protests were held by Hindu outfits against the thaali snapping programme organised by DK with some activists burning pictures of DK President K Veeramani here.
