Thacker (Handicap - 14) scored 41 points at the Willingdon Sports Club to be a part of India's biggest city-based team golf championship.
The tournament was played in the stableford format where Willingdon Sports Club hosted the second club qualifier here for Louis Philippe Cup, India's official pro golf league.
Thacker will be joined by Rani Maheshwary, winner of Bombay Presidency Golf Club qualifier held last week, and a third player who will be nominated by Mumbai team, to fight for the Inter-City Pro Am title of the event on June 11.
In a unique and competitive format, the combined 18-hole scores of the three member pro and three member amateur teams will determine the winners of the Pro-am Title.
However, the three-member pro team will play in the stroke-play format over 54-holes from June 11th to 13th.
