The-Dream, whose real name is Terius Nash, is wanted by the police after Nam claimed that he punched, kicked, and strangled her when she was pregnant with their child, reported TMZ online.
The alleged incident took place in April 2013 at the Plaza Hotel about three months before she gave birth to their son. There is no information whether she sought medical treatment following the alleged incident or what caused the alleged actions.
Nam only filed report in November.
The producer, however, said that the claims were not true. Sources close to The-Dream said that he believed Nam, who is a Canadian, plotted the story to extend her visa in the US. Nam has not responded to the accusation.
