Actress Gita Hall, best known for playing Eva in 1958 film "The Gun Runners", has passed away. She was 82.
Hall died at her home in Studio City on Saturday due to liver failure, her daughter Tracie May-Wagner told The Hollywood Reporter.
Former Swedish-American model, who was once married to actor Barry Sullivan, made her Hollywood debut with "The Gun Runners" portraying Eva, the gorgeous girlfriend of the villain, played by Eddie Albert.
Hall played small roles in a few Swedish movies in the early 1950s before winning the Miss Stockholm beauty pageant in 1953.
After moving to Hollywood, she appeared with her ex-husband Sullivan in the 1958 movie "Wolf Larsen" and the two got married in 1958 until their divorce in 1961. She was the mother of "The Bad and the Beautiful" star's daughter, Patricia.
In 2008, she returned to LA after a long gap from the industry due to her family, to star with her best friend, the Oscar-nominated actress Terry Moore, in "Old Skool With Terry and Gita", a reality TV series.
In March 2013, Hall sued Lionsgate films for the use of her image in the opening credits of the AMC period drama TV series "Mad Men". She alleged that her picture was used without her permission. The sides settled for an undisclosed amount.
Hall is survived by her daughters Patricia Sullivan and Samantha May, from her second ex-husband Mitchell May III, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
