The show, which explores the Muppets' personal lives and relationships, has earned three additional episode order, bringing its freshman season to a total of 16 episodes, reported Ace Showbiz.
Though it's not the standard 22-episode full season, the move is still a nice vote of confidence considering the show's declining ratings compared to its impressive debut.
The show drew mixed responses, being called out by One Million Moms for its adult jokes while the characters were originally created for children's show.
