Longest-running American sitcom 'The Simpsons' paid a visual tribute to the slain cartoonists of Parisian newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
Before beginning the half-hour's final commercial break, the animated show featured a silent clip of Maggie Simpson carrying a tattered 'Je Suis Charlie' banner.
"For everyone who's watching the Golden Globes and not The Simpsons, this was at the end of tonight's episode," posted actor Doug Jones.
In Golden Globes too George Clooney along with Helen Mirren, Diane Kruger, Kathy Bates and others stood firm for the attack.
The French satirical magazine lost 10 of its staffers during the last week's massacre in Paris.
