Theft at Hanuman Garhi temple in UP
The theft was detected when the temple was opened this morning and the mace, crown along with the 21-kg parasol were missing, police said.
The Mahant of the temple, which has a total staff of 40 people, ruled out the possibility of an insider's involvement in the crime.
