While the first day of admissions under the first cut-off announced last week was marred with technical glitches, the second phase started off well today.
There has been a considerable drop in the percentages in the second list even as some colleges closed the enrollment to popular courses such as BCom and Economics Honours.
The students have to check the cut-offs online and if they meet the eligibility they can log into the university's admission portal and choose the college and course.
They will have to take a printout of the completed form, along with the listed documents and their self-attested copies and visit the designated college on any of the three days of admission.
The university had received 2.5 lakh applications for the 54,000 seats in 63 colleges.
In a major shift from previous years, no DU college had kept the ceiling at 100 per cent in the first cut-off list announced last week. However, the required percentage soared at almost all the colleges.
DU had announced this year that it will only release five cut-off lists unlike previous years when the varsity issued up to ten such lists.
