Three arrested for possessing illegal arms
Shekhar Lochabh, Amarjit and Meharban, all 21-year-old, were arrested on February 25 from near Ganda Nala in Budh Vihar. They had gathered there to carry out a robbery, Joint Commissioner of Police (crime), Ravindra Yadav, said.
Two pistols, each of 7.65 calibre, a country-made pistol and live cartridges have been seized from them, the official said.
"The arrests come after a police team was formed in the wake of sudden spate of firing incidents in Rohini, outer and southwest districts," Yadav said.
