Vijay Yadav, Dinesh Singh and Abhishek Singh were held from different places in the district, police said.
The murder was an outcome of BSP leader's rivalry with a gang led by Dhruv Singh alias Kuntu, who is currently lodged at Varanasi central jail, DIG, Rajkumar said.
The murder was planned when Dhruv was brought here in connection with a court hearing on July 15 and the BSP leader was killed by his gang members on July 19, he said.
Dhruv and Sarvesh had a rivalry over liquor contracts and other issues, the DIG said.
Sangram Singh an accused in the case was arrested by Railway Police, Kanpur while another accused Rizwan had surrendered before a local court.
Sarvesh and his associate were shot dead by motorcycle borne assailants before his house in Jiyanpur area on July 19 and six people had been named in the FIR filed in this connection.
The government has recommended CBI inquiry into the case on the demand made by Sarvesh's family.
