Three arrested with psychotropic substances

Three persons were arrested today allegedly with huge quantity of psychotropic substances here, police said.
"Jammu Police achieved a major success and recovered 862 bottles of Corex bottles (Codeine Phosphate) near Manda area here today", a police spokesman said.
On a tip-off, the police laid a special checkpoint near the Manda area and stopped a Santro car that was on its way to Srinagar from Delhi.
He said during the checking of the vehicle, 862 bottles of Corex were recovered.
The three arrested persons have been identified as Reyaz Ahmed, Showkat Wani and Rasat Khurshid Anantnag all residents of Anantnag district of South Kashmir.

The car was seized and the three accused have been booked under various sections of the NDPS act.
