Three dead, 15 injured as tractor overturns

Three women were killed while 15 others were injured, six of them seriously, when a tractor they were travelling overturned in Chatra district today, the police said.
The victims were on their way to Jori from Chatra when the driver of the tractor lost control over the vehicle and it overturned near Sanghri Ghati under Sadar police station, said Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Chatra), Gyan Ranjan.
Ranjan said three women were killed on the spot, while 15 others suffered injuries.
The injured were first rushed to a nearby hospital, but were later on shifted to RIMS, Ranchi for further treatment, he added.
