Three drown during Durga idol immersion in Raj
Rahul (21), Neeraj (19) and Bharti (17) were immersing the idol yesterday when they accidentally went into the deeper side of the river and drowned, they said.
They were fished out with the help of locals and sent to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead, SP Rajesh Singh said.
The bodies have been handed over to the family after post-mortem.
