Three drown in separate incidents in Yavatmal

Three persons including a 12-year-old girl today drowned in as many separate incidents in Yavatmal district, police said.

In the first incident, Rupali Ukhale drowned in Painganga river while washing clothes in Bara village in Umarkhed taluka, police said.

In another incident, one Tushar Matre (18) drowned in the Arunavati dam in Digras taluka where he had gone for a swim.

In the third incident, a farmer, identified as Brijlal Ade (40), died after he accidentally fell into a well on his farm, police added.
