Three girls drown in canal

Three minor girls today drowned in a canal at Puraina village in Gaisadi area here, police said.
The incident took place when Sufia (13), Sakina (13) and Pushpa (12) were taking out mud from the canal for some work following which they slipped in deep waters, they said.
The bodies of the deceased were later fished out from the canal with the help of villagers, police said.
