Three idol-lifters held
which had stolen precious and ancient Idols from Thiruvadanai temple in Ramanathapuram district recently, have been arrested, police today said.
They were travelling in a van and police arrested them at Kottampatti during a vehicle check around midnight last night.
Police said they confessed to stealing the Idols from the temple last week.Two members of the gang managed to escape, police said.
