Two group of students, studying at a coaching class, clashed with another group over claiming supremacy in the area, City Kotwali police station in-charge, Ajay Bhargava told reporters.
One group, led by Monu Tomar was standing outside the coaching class fired from a pistol at the other, led by Monu Chavai while they were coming out of the institute, he said, adding, three persons including Chavai suffered bullet injuries in the incident.
One of the passerby, identified as Bablu Rajak, suffered injuries in his neck following which he was admitted in the district hospital in serious condition and later referred to Gwalior, Bhargava said.
A case has been registered in this regard and further probe is on.
