Three killed, 11 injured in a truck-auto collision in Nawada

Three persons, including two women were killed and 11 others injured when an auto-rickshaw in which they were travelling in collided head on with a truck on NH 31 in Bihar's Nawada district today.
The truck overturned on the auto rickshaw after the collision near Lohani Bigaha village of the district, Akbarpur police station SHO Sanjeev Mahuar said.
The dead, who also included a minor boy, and the injured were occupants of the ill-fated auto rickshaw, he said adding their identities could not be ascertained so far.
The driver and cleaner of the truck managed to escape from the spot after the incident.
All the injured persons have been admitted to Nawada sadar hospital, Mahuar added.
