Three killed as building collapses in rain

Three persons were killed and eight others suffered injuries when a dilapidated and abandoned building collapsed due to the heavy rains and strong gales at Rangampeta village under Sitanagaram mandal in the Vizianagaram district this evening.
The victims, all farmers, had sought shelter in the building, which belongs to the Sericulture Department, police said.
Those killed were identified as Y Kami Naidu (55), P Prasad (22) and Y Simhachalam (45).
