All the deceased, residents of Balak village, were going to Balak Dhani on their motorcycle, they said.
The driver of the jeep fled the spot with his vehicle after the accident, the police said.
The bodies have been handed over to their family after post-mortem, they said, adding that a case has been registered in Barwala police station against the unidentified driver.
