Three killed, one injured in road mishap

Three persons were killed and another critically injured when a cement laden lorry ran on them early today near Valencherry in the district, police said.
They were standing by the road side along with another person after parking their motorcycle when the mishap occurred around 4.30 a m, police said.
The deceased were caught under the wheels of the lorry which was coming from Pattambi in Palakkad district to Valencherry, they said.
The critically injured person has been admitted to a private hospital tn Perinthalmanna.
The driver of the lorry has been arrested, police said.
