who drowned after falling in a pit dug up for storing water in Pachpahade village in Jhalawar district.
The children- Rijwan (12), Rehan (10) and one Shekh Rijwan were apparently playing near the pit when they fell in it last evening, said Hamraj Choudhary, SHO, Bhawanimandi police station.
The water was stored near a highway for construction work by Public Works Department (PWD), he said.
By the time, the three minors were brought out of the water by locals, they had died, the SHO said.
The bodies of the minors were handed over to the family members and a case under section 174 of CrPC was lodged in this connection, he added.
