Three of family killed as house collapses due to rain

Three members ofa family were killed today as their house collapsed due to rain at Pure village under Mirzamurad police station here, police said.
The three deceased -- Rekha, Jittu and Lalita Devi -- and others were sleeping in the mud house which caved in due to heavy rains early in the morning.
The neighbours rushed to their rescue and managed to pull out five persons fromthe debris who were taken to a government hospital where the three were declared brought dead, said Mirzamurad SHO Vivek Srivastava.
The other two were undergoing treatment and their condition was stated to be stable, he added.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem, said the SHO.
