Avadh Ram (35), his sister-in-law Rampyari (30) and niece Himanshi (1) were crushed to death while Ram's another niece Anshi (2) and nephew Anshul (4) were injured in the incident that took place near Adlispur village in Isanagar area this evening, they said.
Ram and his family members, all of neighbouring Unchgaon village were on their way to their relative's place in Haukna Matera village on a bike.
The accident happened when the truck attempted to overtake another vehicle on the road and lost control and fell on the bike.
