Three poachers arrested in Simlipal National Park

The forest guards today arrested three poachers and seized wild boar meat and three guns during a raid inside the Similipal National Park here today, police said.
The forest officials launched a raid at East Deo area under Udala Forest Range of the National Park area. While forest guards arrested three poachers, five others managed to flee, said range officer Batakrushna Padhi.
The officials also seized five kilogram of boar meat from their posession, Padhi said adding that the department has been undertaking raids at regular intervals based on the tip off received from local people.
