"Four persons including an assistant sub inspector, two homeguard jawans and a truck driver died on the spot following a head-on collision between the truck and a police jeep on NH 31 last night, superintendent of police Sailee said.
Meanwhile, in another accident in Muzaffarpur district, three persons died when a truck collided with a car on NH 57 near Gousai chowk, officer in-charge of Bochaha police station Shambhu Bhagat said.
Four persons were also injured in the accident and have been admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), he added.
